stable core pilates

Stable Core Pilates offers private one-on-one Pilates sessions, small group equipment classes, and Pilates-based Physical Therapy. We are dedicated to providing high quality, individualized instruction on the Pilates equipment in a friendly studio environment. We give personal attention to each client, recognizing that each individual has different needs. It is our belief that those who practice Pilates with us will come to enjoy increased freedom of motion by learning to move with a strong and stable core.


Pilates is a program of exercises, developed by Joseph Pilates, which are taught on specialized, spring-loaded equipment and focus on mindful, efficient movement. Pilates exercises teach awareness of breath, body alignment, and the ability to initiate movement from the core muscles. The exercises are low-impact and emphasize improved segmental spinal mobility, allowing athletes to improve their performance and allowing those with injuries to learn to move with greater ease and improved neuromuscular patterns.
